We recognize that privacy is very important to you and we take it very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes Perinote’s policy on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Perinote Organizer mobile application (the “Software”). By using the Software, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please do not use the Software if you do not agree with anything included in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
Through your use of the Software, we collect information when you send it to us directly as well as automatically through your interaction with the Software. Specifically, we collect your name and email address (your “Personal Information”) when you send it to us during registration and we collect anonymized usage statistics automatically unless you opt out in the settings menu of the Software or during your initial registration. For example, usage statistics include how you navigate the application, when the application is opened, your phone model, and IP address, but do not include specific information such as folder names or your personal data. Further, we may collect error log files (i.e. specific usage information along with your email address but no other personal data) when you agree to send us the file.
We will use the information you provide to us during registration, through your use of the Software, and through other interactions you may have with us to (i) operate, maintain, and improve the Software, including analyzing usage patterns within the Software, (ii) to contact you about your use of the Software through your support requests or (iii) to contact you with general information through our newsletter.
2. Information We Disclose and When We Disclose It
We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties except to (i) our service providers who may only use your Personal Information in compliance with this Privacy Policy; (ii) facilitate or negotiate the sale or transfer of some or all of Perinote’s business assets; and (iii) enforce our rights, protect our property, defend ourselves in litigation, protect the rights, property or safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a legitimate government request, or as needed to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
3. How We Protect Your Information
Although no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, Perinote follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. These standards are reasonably designed to (i) ensure the security and confidentiality of your records and information; (ii) protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of your records and information; and (iii) protect against unauthorized access to or use of your records or information that could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to you or any other user of the Software. Your information is located on secure servers within the United States.
4.Children’s Privacy
Perinote does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 years old without parental consent. If you are aware of any instance where a child under 13 years old has provided us with his or her Personal Information, please contact us using the information provided in Section 7 below.

Perinote Camera may record camera sensor and microphone data, which is used for the purpose of taking photos and recording videos.
Location permission is required for geotagging of photos, but this is disabled by default. If enabled, your location is encoded in the saved image and video files (and it is only used for this purpose).
As Perinote Camera was produced by making modifications to the Open Camera application, our privacy policy may change from time to time when we produce a new version of Perinote Camera or for any other reason. You may also wish to look at the privacy policy for Open Camera.
